James Messenger

Catalans forwards Greg Bird and Lambert Belmas are back in the squad for this week’s clash against Salford and could be set for their first appearances of 2019.

Steve McNamara makes two changes to his side, with Antoni Maria and the injured Tony Gigot dropping out of the 19-man squad, while David Mead, Ben Garcia and Jodie Broughton are also absent.

Ian Watson includes Ed Chamberlain in his 19-man squad for the first time all year, while Jake Bibby could also be set for his first start of the season.

Mark Flanagan could also return for the Red Devils, but Lee Mossop misses out after picking up an injury in last week’s defeat to St Helens.

The match takes place at the Stade Gilbert Brutus, with kick off at 5.00pm (6.00pm local time)
