Taylor’s future in doubt

Speculation about Jason Taylor’s future as coach of South Sydney is rife following a drunken incident involving him and David Fa’alogo.

The pair clashed in a Sydney hotel on Sunday night in an incident in which Fa’alogo reportedly punched Taylor, knocking him out.

Club Chief Shane Richardson said an investigation has been launched into the incident.

“We don’t take this incident lightly and an investigation is underway to get to the bottom of whathappened,” he said.

“We have a strict code of conduct and we expect every person employed by the Club to stick to that code of conduct.

“We have a great record off the field, and we will take decisive action once we know the full facts ofwhat happened.

“Officials from the Club will continue the investigations today and we will make our determinations from that point on.”

However Taylor’s fate could be sealed a lot sooner when the Rabbitohs’ board meet tommorrow (Thursday).

Taylor’s agent Wayne Beavis said nothing had been decided.

“I don’t know how they’re going to sack anyone without having all the information and sitting down and the parties having their say,” Beavis told AAP.
