Hull FC winger Fetuli Talanoa is hoping to get into the actin when the Airlie Birds tangle with the Toronto Wolfpack at the KCOM on Sunday.

The game will be FC’s third preseason outing, with Lee Radford‘s men having been beaten by Castleford on Boxing Day, and Hull KR earlier in January, already.

“I’m keen to get a run out against Toronto. Watching the Hull KR game got me fired up to play,” Talanoa told his club’s official website.

Hull have been away training in Portugal, something which Talanoa maintains has been of considerable value to the players’ preparations for the new season.

“The trip together is about bonding and about getting some dry weather training, get some combinations going and getting to know my room-mate more,” he added.

“The more experienced guys get paired with one of the younger players, so it will be good to get to know them a bit more.

“The newcomers have fitted in well. Josh is a big boy and he’s been training well. I’m looking forward to playing alongside him this season.”
