Wakefield have confirmed that winger Semi Tadulala has re-signed for the club until the end of the season.

Tadulala, 33, spent three years at the club between 2004 and 2007 before moving on to Bradford and then Leeds Carnegie rugby union club.

Wildcats Head Coach John Kear said: “I’m delighted that Semi has joined the Wildcats. Our wingers are all very early 20’s and sometimes you need a guy who has been around the block and knows how to handle the pressure.”

“Semi’s experience will help our young side and I’m really looking forward to seeing him in action for us.”

Tadulala played in the NRL for Melbourne and also has six caps for Fiji.

He said: “It’s great to be back here at The Wildcats. It’s a brilliant club and I can’t wait to get out on the park with the boys.

“I hope I can work hard to put in some good performances for the team and help them achieve their goals for the rest of the year.”

The Wildcats have also confirmed that they are close to revealing another signing, subject to UK Border Agency approval.
