Sydney Roosters will auction their 2020 World Club Challenge shirts to help raise funds for the New South Wales Rural Fire Service.

The Roosters play Super League champions St Helens in the World Club Challenge at the Totally Wicked Stadium on Sunday, February 22 (7:45pm).

At the end of the game, each player will sign their match-worn jersey, with 100% of all auction proceeds to be donated to the NSW RFS.

Roosters captain Boyd Cordner said: “It’s been devastating to see the destruction of the bushfires right around the country, and personally it has been tough to see the impact around Taree where I grew up.

“As players, we were very keen to look at how we could make a contribution to the important work of the NSW RFS, and we hope we can help make a difference through this initiative.”

Roosters winger Brett Morris added: “The devastation of the bushfires is not something you’d wish on anybody.
