Sydney Roosters overcame a difficult week off the pitch to record a morale-boosing 24-6 over a disappointing Parramatta team.

Sam Perrett scored the Roosters¹ first try who extended their lead with two penalties before Shaun Kenny-Dowall weighed in with his team¹s second score.

A penalty and a second try for Kenny-Dowall gave the visitors a commanding 24-0 lead until Jarryd Hayne grabbed his second long-range interception try in the space of a week to give the Eels a consolation score.
