Swinton have signed centre George Tyson from relegated Oldham.
Tyson, 24, came through the ranks at Salford but has made his name with the Roughyeds, either side of a spell with Sheffield.
He said: “I am really looking forward to starting the new season as a Lion. I’m looking forward to learning new things off Stuart because he was a class centre and someone I admire.”
Coach Stuart Littler added: “I am absolutely delighted with the signing of George Tyson. He is an athlete who is both powerful and dynamic.
“George will add some serious strike threat to our edges and I am looking forward to working with him over the next 12
“In past encounters with both Oldham and Sheffield, George has been a constant threat to our team and so I am now grateful he has decided to join us! George is another piece in the Swinton jigsaw which is now coming together nicely.”
