Swinton have announced the signing of centre Liam Forsyth on a two-year deal.

Forsyth, 24, first appeared for the Heywood Road side on dual-registration from Wigan between 2017 and 2019, scoring 12 tries in 24 appearances.

He joined Leigh in 2019, and scored 12 tries in 11 appearances.

“I’m buzzing to have joined the Lions and I’m really looking forward to getting back involved and playing under Stuart and Allan,” he said.

“It will be good to be back in training with some old mates mixed in with a few new faces. The squad is looking very strong so I’m excited about what we can do over the next couple of years with the support of the fans.”
