Swinton have handed a new one-year contract to Italy international Richard Lepori.

The 27-year-old scored three tries in nine appearances for the Lions in 2019. He has scored 12 tries in nine games for Italy on the international stage.

Swinton coach Stuart Litter said: “I’m absolutely made up to announce the re-signing of Richard Lepori.

“Lippy came to us midway through last season and really added to our group both on and off the field. Richard certainly has a high work rate and the way we start sets on the back of his carries is appreciated by the full group.

“Away from the field, he is also a good person. We have built our club on recruiting the right people who are with us for the right reasons.

“Richard ticks all boxes on that and I am excited with what the future has in store for us. Pre-season comes around quick and we intend to hit the ground running.”
