Swinton Lions reveal new club badge

Championship club Swinton Lions have revealed a new badge that links the present and the past.

The iconic rampant lion returns alongside the six stars to signify the clubs previous success. Also included on the badge is the foundation year of the club and in silver/grey lettering, “Manchester” to acknowledge Swinton’s place within the sporting context of the city.

The latest release was made via the club’s twitter account where yesterday a new two-year contract for Head Coach Stuart Littler was announced in a novel way.
