Sutcliffe out for season

Leeds’ Liam Sutcliffe has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a knee injury.

Sutcliffe, 20, will undergo surgery next Thursday after rupturing Anterior Cruciate Ligament in his knee during last weekend’s win over Hull.

Coach Brian McDermott said: “It is desperately disappointing news for Liam especially given the form he has been in this season. He will get the best possible treatment from our medical team and I am sure he will return next season stronger for the experience.”

Sutcliffe has scored six tries and 25 goals in 15 appearances for the Rhinos this season.
