Super League trio suspended

Castleford pair Nathan Massey and Matt Cook, and Salford half-back Theo Fages have all been handed suspensions following incidents last weekend.

Massey was given a one match ban for recklessly striking Rangi Chase in the meeting between the two sides on Friday, which Castleford won 30-16.

His team-mate Matt Cook submitted an early guilty plea for striking and was handed a one-match ban, which means the pair will miss the game against Hull this weekend.

Fages also submitted an early guilty plea, for the Grade C offence of dangerous contact, earning him a two-match suspension.
