Super League stars charged with assault

St Helens star Leon Pryce and Warrington Wolves fullback Stuart Reardon have been charged with assault and using violence to gain entry to a property after being arrested.nnThe players, who have both represented Great Britain at international level, have been ordered to appear at Bradford Magistrates Court on August 6.nnA spokesperson from West Yorkshire Police confirmed: “Two 26-year-old men were arrested in Bradford on the morning of July 13 on suspicion of assualt, damage and using violence to gain entry.nn”Both men have been charged with using violence to gain entry and assualt and have been bailed to appear at Bradford Magistrates on August 6.”nnA spokesman for St Helens said: “We are aware of an incident. We are trying to get the full facts. Until then, we are making no further comment.”nnThe club confirmed that Pryce was expected to play in Friday nights derby clash with Wigan Warriors. “He is in our 19-man squad for Friday,” added the spokesman.nnWarrington Wolves have refused to comment on the alleged incident.nnBoth Pryce and Reardon are understood to live in Bradford and previously played for the Bradford Bulls.
