Super League star pleads guilty to drug possession

Catalans forward Dave Taylor has pleaded guilty to two charges of possessing cocaine during his time with the Gold Coast Titans in 2014.

Taylor left the Titans to join the Dragons at the end of 2015.

The forward and two other Gold Coast players, Joe Vicker and Jamie Dowling, have pleaded guilty to two drug charges.

Taylor will be sentenced in November.

The former Kangaroos and Queensland prop spent three seasons with the Titans from 2013 to 2015. The 28-year old has also played for Brisbane and Souths.

Taylor has scored eight tries in 21 appearances for Catalans this season.
