Super League reveals TV figures following restart

Super League has revealed its TV figures following the competition’s restart on August 2.

In all seven games since the restart, average match audience is up 5.5% against pre-Coronavirus lockdown average, and up 16% compared to the 2019 average.

The Huddersfield-Leeds clash on August 2 is the number one ranked game for peak audience in 2020, beating Wigan-Warrington in round one by more than 50,000 viewers.

And the Huddersfield-Leeds match is the number two ranked game for average match audience in 2020 – only behind Wigan-Warrington in the opening round.
