SUPER 8S PREVIEW: Warrington v Wigan

Warrington, still winless in the Super 8s, welcome Wigan to the Halliwell Jones desperately in search of some answers after their recent poor run of form.

Rhys Evans misses out with a shoulder problem, with Gareth O’Brien replacing him in the Wire’s 19-man squad.

Young centre Oliver Gildart is included in Wigan’s squad for the first time, while Ryan Hampshire comes in to replace Anthony Gelling, who has a rib injury.

Chris Hill needs one appearance to reach 300 for his career. Hill has played 127 games for Warrington since 2012, and was previously with Leigh – making 160 appearances for the Centurions (2005-2011). He has also represented England 12 times since 2012.

Kevin Penny needs one try to reach a career century of touchdowns. His total of 99 has been scored as follows: 45 for Warrington (2006-2009 & 2014-2015), three for North Wales Crusaders (2015), 31 for Swinton (2012-2014), 16 for Widnes (2009 & 2011), one for Wakefield (2011) and three for Harlequins (2010).
