SUPER 8S PREVIEW: St Helens v Warrington

Correspondent

St Helens can go top with a win, but it could only be temporary, with the first four places in Super League divided by only a single point currently.

Travis Burns misses out, as does Man of Steel nominee Alex Walmsley, who has a leg injury.

Warrington have nothing to play for but pride now, although they will want to send off their departing players with a little joy.

Joel Monaghan, Richie Myler, Roy Asostasi and Gareth O’Brien could all make their last apearances for the Wolves in this game.

Sam Wilde coming in for Gary Wheeler is the only change made to the Wire squad from last time out.

St Helens (19-man squad): Makinson, Turner, Jones, Swift, Walsh, Masoe, Roby, Amor, Vea, Wilkin, McCarthy-Scarsbrook, Flanagan, Percival, Thompson, Richards, Greenwood, Dawson, Savelio, Quinlan.

Warrington (19-man squad): Asotasi, Atkins, Clark, Currie, Dwyer, Harrison, Hill, Johnson, King, Monaghan, Myler, O’Brien, Penny, Philbin, Ratchford, Sandow, Sims, Westwood, Wilde.
