Featherstone have upset Wakefield and Doncaster have defeated Sheffield in friendly action today.

Barrow downed Whitehaven 36-10 at Craven Park. The Raiders dominated their fellow Cumbrians in the first half, taking a 30-0 lead into the break.

Batley defeated Keighley 38-12 at Mount Pleasant. The Bulldogs were in front 22-6 at half-time against their League 1 opponents.

Hull FC edged Toronto 26-20 at the KCOM Stadium.

In the Wolfpack’s first-ever game, it was a see-sawing affair but the Black and Whites held on in the final 20 minutes after Nick Rawsthorne scored in the corner.

Doncaster beat Sheffield 22-18 at the Keepmoat Stadium. The League 1 side took a slend 6-4 lead into half-time against their Championship opponents.

Featherstone were impressive against neighbours Wakefield at the Big Fella’s Stadium.

Fev had a 12-10 lead after 40 minutes and then ended up 28-20 victors.

Salford won the Colin Dixon trophy with a 13-6 victory at Halifax.

It was a tough afternoon with the Red Devils with Jake Bibby and Justin Carney both injured.

At the John Smith’s Stadium Huddersfield were too good for Bradford, winning 28-10 in Luke Robinson‘s testimonial match.

Leigh trounced Wigan 50-10 at the Leigh Sports Village in Michael McIlorum‘s testimonal. Wigan had Connor Farrell forced from the field with injury, while Oliver Gildart also needed treatment.

Rochdale won the Law Cup with a 24-12 win against neighbours Oldham. It was locked up at 6-6 at half-time.

St Helens took home the Karalius Cup with a 16-0 victory over Widnes.

Worringly for Saints new signing Matty Smith limped off with a leg injury right before half-time, with the Red V 6-0 leaders.
