Stuart Jones set to end career at Castleford
Castleford Tigers’ Stuart Jones will retire at the end of the season.
The 30-year old has had spells at Wigan, St Helens and Huddersfield before joining the Tigers in 2009. His contract was extended to three years after impressive performances meaning he will have spent four years at Castleford.
Jones said: “I’ve enjoyed my time here; there have been some ups and downs along the way but I will be able to look back and say that I’ve had four good years at Cas.
“It has been a good experience at Cas, there’s been a great bunch of lads over the years and the fans are second to none.
“I’ve had a good job opportunity come up and it is time I started looking towards my future career and this means stepping down from full time rugby league.”
