State of Mind has announced it is taking over Super League in Round 25 once again this season.

Round 25 takes place on the weekend of 29/30/31 August, with games including the Hull derby, St Helens‘ trip to Leeds and Warrington against Huddersfield.

The State of Mind programme was established in 2011 with the aim of improving the mental health, wellbeing and working life of rugby league players and communities.

Co-founder Malcolm Rae said: “We’re delighted to announce our campaign theme for this season’s State of Mind mental health and well-being campaign as the rugby league family.

“Families are the cornerstone of good mental health and well-being, and we wish to associate the campaign with the strong family involvement in rugby league.

“We’re grateful to the RFL for once again endorsing our innovative campaign which aims to improve the mental health and well-being within rugby league communities.”

The other games in this year’s State of Mind round are Widnes v Wigan, Catalan v London, Wakefield v Salford and Castleford v Bradford.

Activity will be planned at all matchdays, and announced closer to the time.

Last season, State of Mind enjoyed its most successful awareness campaign to date around Super League Round 25, and continues to deliver sessions regularly to rugby league clubs at all levels.

Love Rugby League will for the second year be co-ordinating media coverage of the State of Mind round.
