Stacul signs new Catalans deal

French international winger Cyril Stacul has signed a new two-year contract with Catalans.

Stacul, 25, has scored nine tries in 25 appearances for the Dragons since making his debut at the end of the 2007 season.

He said: “I’m delighted and very proud to play for Catalans for the two next seasons. Playing in the Super League rewards me for all the efforts I have made.”

Dragons Football Manager, Sebastien Munoz, said: “We are happy to rely on a young French player as Cyril for the next two seasons. We have few backs in France who can play in the Super League so it was important to keep him at the club.”
