Champions St Helens are the 5/2 favourites to win Super League with title sponsors Betfred, ahead of the competition’s restart next month.

Kristian Woolf’s side have had a mixed start to the campaign, winning three and losing three of their six matches to date, but they are still slated to walk away with the trophy come the end of the year, whenever that may be.

During lockdown, they have lost England prop Luke Thompson, but replaced him with James Graham, who will be hoping to mark his return by leading Saints to a second successive Grand Final win.

Despite being joint favourites at the start of the season, Wigan are now joint second favourites with Warrington, priced at 3/1.

That’s despite the Warriors sitting pretty at the top of the Super League table when the season was suspended, with five wins from their seven games.

They are above Castleford on points difference alone, though there are three clubs who have lost just once so far – Leeds, Huddersfield and Catalans, and boast games in hand.

Castleford and Leeds are 8/1, with Huddersfield very much an outside bet at 25/1.

Without a win in their six games so far, newboys Toronto are 250/1 to make a miraculous recovery and reach a maiden Grand Final.

Last season’s Grand Finalists Salford are 150/1 to go one step further this year – they had a difficult start to 2020, winning two of their first seven.

Super League restarts on August 2 with Hull KR facing Toronto, St Helens against Catalans and Huddersfield taking on Leeds.
