St Helens 2019 squad numbers: Danny Richardson to wear No. 7 jersey

St Helens have announced their squad numbers for the 2019 season and Danny Richardson will wear the iconic No. 7 jersey.

Richardson, who had a fine breakthrough season in 2018, takes over the number seven shirt from Matty Smith, who has joined Catalans Dragons.

Saints’ new full-back will wear the number 23 shirt and fills Ben Barba’s boots. Samoa international Joseph Paulo will don the number 12 jersey.

Fiji captain Kevin Naiqama is expected to play at centre next season after being given the number three shirt.

Joe Batchelor, who arrives from York City Knights, will wear 25.

Academy players Callum Hazzard, Jack Welsby and Josh Simm have been given the number 28, 29 and 30 respectively.
