Speculation increases of next Super League sponsors

The strongest hint as to the next Super League title sponsors has been dropped by Probiz founder Feisal Nahaboo.

Speculation continues to surround the title sponsors of the 2012 Super League season, after Engage Mutual ended their partnership with the sport at the end of last season.

Probiz are the most likely title sponsors after Nahaboo alluded to investing more into rugby league in the near future.

Castleford Tigers and Probiz announced they were continuing their commercial sponsorship of the club on Wednesday, and Probiz founder Feisal Nahaboo confirmed we are to see more of his firm’s branding within the sport.

He said: “The Probiz brand will become more noticeable than ever before. We have also agreed terms with Super League for a national investment which will be announced in due course. But expect to see PROBIZ all across Rugby League!”

Probiz have already invested money into Super League and Championship clubs. They were shirt sponsors for Castleford and Halifax throughout 2011, and were title sponsors of the 2011 World Club Challenge in which St George-Illawarra defeated Wigan at the DW Stadium.

The Rugby Football League have already announced new partnerships ahead of the new season.

Electronics giant Elonex are supplying electronic LED advertising boards to all 14 Super League clubs, as well as sponsoring all Super League match officials. The deal is worth £5 million over five years, which came as a result of the successful Four Nations tournament.

Prior to the 2011 Grand Final Heinz Big Soup were announced as partners to the sport, and will go onto sponsor the World Club Challenge in 2012.
