Soward not taking Sharks for granted

Jamie Soward is taking nothing for granted when he and his St George team mates take on in-form rivals Cronulla this weekend.

The Sharks are three wins from three matches going into the encounter at Toyota Stadium on Saturday night.

“Cronulla are in good form at the moment and I look forward to what awaits on Saturday night,” says Soward.

“I think the way they’ve have been playing and building off momentum from that means it will be a tough test for us.”

As well as the Sharks’ maurading forward pack which includes the likes of workhorse back-rower Paul Gallen, Soward says they have other weapons at their disposal.

“With players like Todd Carney you just have to try and limit his touches when he does get the ball in his hands,” added Soward.

“We’ll look at some video of him and the whole team for that matter later on in the week and move on from there.”
