Toronto Wolfpack’s blockbuster signing Sonny Bill Williams recently spent a day with Manchester United.

The 34-year-old has linked up with his new team-mates and is now finishing his pre-season with Brian McDermott’s outfit.

Williams met the Manchester United squad on Sunday, where he was presented with a jersey with his name printed on the back.

Williams is likely to play his first game for Toronto when they face Castleford in Michael Shenton’s testimonial match at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle on January 19, 2pm kick-off.

The Canadian club’s first game in Super League is against Castleford at Emerald Headingley Stadium on February 2. It will be part of a double-header that will see Leeds take on Hull FC in the second match.
