Solomona loving small town lifestyle at Castleford

Denny Solomona is loving life in Castleford, not least because the small, friendly town offers a nice contrast to the big city living he has done previously in his career.

The former London Bronco acknowledges that the move felt right for him from the very beginning, because he received such a warm welcome.

“I like that it’s a small town here and everyone knows everyone,” Solomona told the Tigers’ official website.

“We’ve got some great international players here like Grant Millington and Luke Dorn who just give you a tap on the shoulder and ask how you are. Little things like that just make it feel like home.

“I knew it right from the start that this was the right move for me. As soon as my deal was announced the fans were tweeting me and welcoming me, it’s been pretty good.

“I was interested in Cas for a while and it’s where I wanted to be. Last year I was really home sick, losing didn’t help, but this year I feel at home.

“The boys are doing really well and I’ve got Junior Moors and Benny Roberts from back home here that makes it easier. It just feels like home here.”
