Slater sidelined for Four Nations

Australia fullback Billy Slater will miss the rest of the Four Nations tournament with a broken collarbone.

Slater suffered the injury early in the Kangaroos’ 36-20 victory over England at Wembley, attempting to stop winger Ryan Hall crossing for the game’s opening try.

He will meet with specialists on Monday to decide on whether or not to undergo surgery in London.

St George’s Darius Boyd proved a worthy replacement for Slater, scoring the Kangaroos’ fifth try.
