Salford welcome St Helens to the AJ Bell Stadium tonight, hoping to improve on their opening day defeat at Warrington.

Red Devils fans will be delighted that former Kiwi international Kevin Locke, who recently hinted that he might turn out for Scotland internationally, is included in the the squad.

Salford also bring Lama Tasi into the squad after Weller Hauraki was given a one-match ban. Prop Jordan Walne is also included.

St Helens will be missing half-back Luke Walsh again, as he has a virus. He remains a serious doubt for the Saints’ World Club Challenge clash with South Sydney too.

Utility forward Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook is also missing, thanks to a knock.
