SL Preview: Hull KR v Wakefield

Correspondent

Wakefield take a trip to Hull KR hoping to find some form, and Rovers’ last outing would seem to give them some hope.

Hull KR were destroyed by 60 points to nil at Wigan last week, though their team was heavily depleted by injuries.

The Robins are boosted for this game by the return of Josh Mantellato in the back line. The forward pack also receives some much-needed reinforcement in the shape of Jordan Cox, who has returned from a loan spell at Huddersfield.

Danny Washbrook misses out for Wakefield, but forwards Scott Anderson and Chris Annakin do return to James Webster‘s squad.

Former Robin Craig Hall will also be in Trinity’s squad, with the utility back having shaken off the effects of an Achilles tendon injury.

Prediction: Despite the Robins’ poor recent form, they should still be too strong for Trinity, especially with home advantage. Rovers to win by at least 12 points.

Hull KR (19-man squad): Boudebza, Campese, Cockayne, Cox, Dixon, Donaldson, Green, Guzdek, Horne, Kelly, Larroyer, McCarthy, Mantellato, Ollett, Robinson, Sio, Tilse, Walker, Welham.

Wakefield (19-man squad): Anderson, Annakin, Arundel, Crowther, Godinet, Hall, Johnstone, Kavanagh, Lauitiiti, Lyne, McShane, Miller, Molloy, Ryan, Riley, Scruton, Simon, D. Smith, T. Smith.
