London Skolars have bolstered their squad with the signing of Newcastle winger Mo Agoro on a one-month loan.

The former Leeds Rhinos junior joined Thunder from Gloucestershire All Golds ahead of the 2018 season and has gone on to score 22 tries in 37 appearances.

The Jamaican international will link up the Skolars ahead of this weekend’s visit of Whitehaven and can also feature in their matches against Coventry Bears and Workington Town. However, he will not be eligible to play against his parent club later this month.

Skolars currently sit fifth in the table on 15 points, two places below Simon Finnigan’s side.

On the signing, Skolars Head Coach Jermaine Coleman said: “Mo is a quality player. He is very powerful, very fast and will add new dimension to our back line.

“His kick returns are phenomenon. I have been working with him for Jamaica and he has a lot to offer to the team and can play a variety of positions so we are all looking forward to have him on board the next month.”
