Six different gorups are interested in taking over the Bradford Bulls, according to the club’s administrators.

The Bulls were placed in administration on Monday and their membership of the RFL has been terminated.

The club’s membership of the Rugby Football League has also been terminated and the club could face a points deduction or relegation.

Former Bradford City owner Mark Lawn is keen to buy the Bulls.

Joint administrator Gary Pettit told the BBC: “We are excited by the interest shown.”

:We consider that several of the parties appear to have sufficient resources and experience to take Bradford Bulls forward.

“A lot of hard work is going on behind the scenes to safeguard the Bulls’ heritage and legacy.”
