Sitaleki Akauola set to make Warrington debut while Joe Burgess and Dan Sarginson miss out for Wigan

Sitaleki Akauola could make his Warrington debut against Wigan on Friday night while Joe Burgess and Dan Sarginson have failed to make the Warriors squad.

The Wolves could also see the return of their marquee signing, Tyrone Roberts, with the half-back being named in Steve Price’s 19-man squad while Akauola could make his Super League bow. Matty Russell misses out on selection.

Shaun Wane has been a few changes to his Warriors side. Frank-Paul Nuuausala was released on Wednesday so he is obviously out while Burgess and Sarginson have failed to make the cut.

Promising youngster Craig Mullen and France international Romain Navarrete are included. John Bateman is set to make his first Super League appearance of the season after returning last week.
