Canberra forward David Shillington has recovered from a knee injury and will be fit to face Wests Tigers on Saturday.

The Queensland and Australia prop limped off the field midway through the Raiders’ 20-4 home loss to Brisbane on Friday.

But he returned to the action shortly afterwards, and after two days of treatment, has made himself for Saturday’s match at Campbelltown Stadium.

“The knee feels heaps better today and I will just make sure it’s strapped up and I should be fine on Saturday,” Shillington said.

“It’s an important match for us Saturday as we need to make amends for the loss to the Broncos and I really want to make sure I’m available.”
