Sherwin out for a month

Castleford scrum half Brent Sherwin is set to be out for a month due to a foot injury.

Sherwin, 31, suffered the injury in Friday’s 16-6 loss at Hull KR.

He had a scan over the weekend and will now miss Castleford’s Challenge Cup clash with Huddersfield.

The Australian had surgery on the same foot during the close season, but coach Terry Matterson is hoping Sherwin won’t need more surgery.
