Sheffield and Doncaster fans to double up

Doncaster have confirmed that their fans and Sheffield Eagles supporters will be getting double value from their season tickets in 2015.

The two clubs are sharing Doncaster’s Keepmoat Stadium next year, with the Dons kicking their games off at 2pm, and the Eagles at 4.15pm.

In an innovative arrangement, season ticket holders for both clubs will have the opportunity to watch both teams play as part of their existing season ticket package.

“Our arrangement with Sheffield Eagles is of benefit for the Dons, Club Doncaster and rugby league as a whole,” Carl Hall, chief executive of Doncaster RLFC, said.

“The facility being provided means season ticket holders of both clubs as they can access almost twice as many Championship games next season.”

Mark Aston, chief executive of Sheffield Eagles added: “This is a great opportunity to raise the profile of rugby league in South Yorkshire.

“Season ticket holders of both clubs will have the opportunity to watch two Championship games back to back on numerous occasions. This is a ground breaking agreement by the two South Yorkshire teams.”

Full details of season ticket packages and prices are available from the two clubs.

Neither the Dons season ticket nor the Sheffield season ticket will include either of the respective teams away fixtures against the other, however.
