Salford centre Josh Griffin is very happy that Tim Sheens is operating as director of rugby at the Red Devils for 2016.
The Salford club have been something of a soap opera in recent seasons, and Griffin feels that a strong hand at the tiller like Sheens can only be a good thing for the Red Devils going forward.
“If you go back to this time last year, we had all the names and stuff,” he told Love Rugby League.
“But we were a rollercoaster – you never knew where Salford were going to be.
“Tim Sheens has come in and brought a bit of composure to the club.
“You don’t hear about anything going on any more. He takes all of that in his stride.
“Things like that don’t affect the players any more.”
