Sheens happy with Hull KR win
A relieved Tim Sheens was happy his Hull KR side came away with the win after a tough contest against Halifax.
The Robins had to come from behind to claim a 26-22 victory and get their Qualifiers campaign off to a winning start.
He told the club’s official website: “It was important to get off to a winning start and the two points were all that mattered.
“Considering we still had a few key people out and some guys who are not long back from lay-offs, I was still pretty happy with the overall effort.
“We’re not focusing on points difference or anything like at the moment. You win the games and that’s it.
“We adapted to what we had to do, used an interchange at half-time, which is something I don’t really like doing, but all in all, I’m happy with the win.”
Hull KR lost centre Thomas Minns at half time with an injury he sustained during the first 40 minutes, and Sheens also revealed that Mose Masoe may also be a doubt for next week’s game against Leigh with a shoulder injury.
