Sheens considers options after Quinlan injury

Hull KR coach Tim Sheens revealed that Australian full back Adam Quinlan suffered a dislocated shoulder in their Robins’ Challenge Cup win over Sheffield Eagles on Sunday.

Although Rovers enjoyed a pretty straightforward 48-10 win to take them through to the next round, Quinlan’s injury could create some selection problems for Sheens in the coming weeks.

“Adam has dislocated his shoulder and he’s gone off to the hospital to get it looked at,” Sheens said, according to Rovers’ official webiste.

“It’s gone back into place in the changing rooms which is a good thing but we’ll see what the damage is. That will determine how long he will be out for.

“These things you’ve just got to live with and move forward. Benny Cockayne can play at full back but Kieren Moss is a natural full back, probably more of a full back than a winger, so we’ve got a couple of options there.”
