Shaun Lunt to join Barrow for 2021 season

Barrow have announced the signing of hooker Shaun Lunt for the 2021 season.

The 33-year-old has made more than 300 career appearances for Castleford, Workington, Huddersfield, Hull KR, Leeds and Batley.

Lunt, who has earned one cap for England, joined Batley ahead of the 2020 season but only played six games for the Bulldogs before the Championship campaign was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The hooker won Super League Grand Final with Leeds in 2012 and the League Leaders’ Shield with Huddersfield in 2o13.

Lunt will link up with Barrow ahead of the League 1 season in 2021.
