Doncaster have confirmed that seven players have left the club following the end of the League 1 campaign.

Hooker Kyle Kesik departs having been with the club since 2009, while Jordan Howden, Connor Bower and Connor Scott will also head for the exit door.

Richard Owen has retired from the game, while Greece international Stefanos Bastas and Callum Ogden complete the list of departures.

Doncaster coach Richard Horne said: “I would like to thank the boys for all their efforts not only during my time at the club but also some having done so for a significant period of time.

“We wish them all the best and I’m sure the fans will look forward to potentially welcoming a few back albeit in different colours next season.

“It’s always a time of year where decisions have to be made and with recruitment well underway for next season, we’re already looking forward to a positive campaign.”
