Semi Radradra puts rugby league on hold as he moves to Bristol

Drew Darbyshire

Semi Radradra will not be returning to rugby league anytime soon as he has signed for Bristol Bears.

The 27-year-old scored 82 tries in 94 appearances for Parramatta Eels between 2013-17, and had recently been linked with the NRL and Toronto.

Radradra has signed a three-year contract with Premiership side Bristol Bears, who play at Ashton Gate Stadium.

He said: “They are one of the most exciting teams in Europe right now and the way that they are doing things is making everybody take notice.

“I visited the world class facilities at Ashton Gate and saw the progress of the new training ground – it’s a fantastic club to be joining with a bright future ahead. I can’t wait to get started and contributing to the Bristol Bears vision.”

Watch NRL and live stream every NRL game to keep up with how Tom Burgess, John Bateman, Ryan Sutton, Elliott Whitehead, James Graham, George Williams and all the others are getting on Down Under.
