James Segeyaro‘s manager claims the hooker doesn’t have a valid contrct with Leeds for 2017.

Segeyaro walked out on Leeds last year after he was believed to have agreed to a two-year extenstion at Headingley.

“We will go through the appropriate channels to resolve the issue but we are totally confident that James is not contracted to Leeds in 2017,” Segeyaro’s manager Sam Ayoub told News Limited.

Leeds want a £225,000 transfer fee from Cronulla for the hooker but the Sharks are not willing to pay the fee.

The Rhinos have reportedly retained Australian lawyers to represent them in any legal action against Segeyaro.
