Second Albert brother gains visa clearance for Vikings

Stanton Albert will go in to contention alongside brother Wellington for Widnes’ Super League opener against Catalans after being granted a visa.

Albert, 22, signed for the club recently and flew over to the UK with his brother, who had already received his visa clearance.

He had his immigration meeting with the Home Office this week and the club has confirmed he is now available for selection.

The Papua New Guinea international made three appearances at the recent World Cup.
