Salford owner Marwan Koukash ha confirmed that the club’s coaching consultant Sean Long has left the club.
Long has been linked with a move back to his former club St Helens.
This is the end of the former Saints halfback’s second spell with Salford as a coach. He left the club after Brian Noble’s appointment as coach, before returning in March.
“The club has reluctantly agreed to Sean Long‘s request to leave the club with immediate effect,” Koukash revealed via Twitter.
“I personally feel very disappointed. He knows why he is leaving and I wish him all the best. We won’t take him back again.”
