Scotland secure win

Scotland have beaten a Cumbria Select XIII 48-16 at Craven Park tonight.

Scotland opened the scoring after just three minutes through Dave Scott.

Callum Phillips then crossed to make it 12-0.

Tries in the next six minutes came through Frankie Mariano and Scott again to make it 20-0.

The Cumbrians hit back through Ryan Fieldhouse after Matty Russell fumbled a kick.

Debutant Ryan Brierley then crossed for his first try for Scotland.

Chris Fleming responded for the Cumbrian side, making it 26-12 to the Bravehearts at half-time.

After the break Fleming bagged his second of the night before Adam Walker touched down for Scotland.

In the final 20 minutes the Scots finished with tries to debutants Tyler Cassel and Lewis Tierney.
