Scotland international re-signs with Whitehaven
Whitehaven have given Scotland international Brett Phillips a new one-year contract.
The 31-year-old scored 4 tries in 17 appearances for Whitehaven last season after having a year out of the game in 2018. He has earned seven caps for Scotland.
Whitehaven coach Gary Charlton said: “Brett is a great signing for us.
“He’s a good player that has experience playing in the Championship and at the highest level with Scotland. I’m really pleased to see him sign for another season with us.”
Phillips added: “I’m excited for another year.
“I enjoyed last season and hopefully we can kick in again next year and enjoy our rugby. I’m looking forward to getting back into the routine and playing rugby again.”
