HAVE YOUR SAY: Who will be the final team to secure an automatic return to Super League in 2018?

Drew Darbyshire

It has been the most entertaining season yet for The Qualifiers.

Warrington Wolves were the bookmakers’ favourites to finish top of the Middle 8s table and they haven’t let anyone down, having won all six of their games so far and with a difference of 128 points.

With Hull Kingston Rovers having already secured promotion straight back to Super League for 2018 at the first time of asking, top-flight sides Widnes Vikings, Catalans Dragons and Leigh Centurions will battle it out for third spot.

Widnes and Catalans are both on eight points in third and fourth respectively while Leigh are in fifth on six points, and the best they can hope for is a home game in the Million Pound Game.

The Vikings have a points difference of 90 while the Dragons have -11.

And with Widnes facing a trip to Catalans Dragons on Saturday, the French side are slight favourites to win.

Leigh face a tough trip to the capital as they face London Broncos on Friday night, with Andrew Henderson’s Championship outfit having already had their promotion hopes shattered.

So with the final round of The Qualifiers taking place this weekend, who is your money on to claim third-place and secure an automatic return to the Betfred Super League for 2018?

And who will finish fourth and get home advantage in the Million Pound Game?
