Have your say: Will anyone gain promotion to Super League this season?

At the minute, the Qualifiers structure still stands, so we want to know if you think any team will come up to Super League from the Championship this season.

Leigh Centurions lost to Catalans Dragons in the Million Pound Game last year, which relegated them to the Championship after only earning promotion to the top-flight a year before.

Hull Kingston Rovers were relegated in 2016 but replaced Leigh last season after finishing in third position in the Qualifiers.

There is no doubt that bringing promotion and relegation back to Rugby League has made it more exciting for the fans if nothing else.

And this year, the Betfred Championship looks to be as competitive as ever before, with there being a number of clubs competing for a top-four finish after the regular campaign.

Leigh are the favourites to win the Championship League Leaders’ Shield and get promoted to Super League, despite suffering a 34-12 defeat to title rivals Toronto Wolfpack in the opening round. The Centurions have got a brilliant coach in Neil Jukes and he has put together a solid squad for this season.

Toronto have spent a lot of money in the off-season as they aim to get promoted to Super League this year, and in the second half against Leigh last weekend, they were certainly playing like a Super League outfit.

Toulouse Olympique only just missed out on a place in the Qualifiers last year but they are expected to get there in 2018. They have got a fantastic squad and under Sylvain Houles, they could be a force to be reckoned with.

Featherstone Rovers are on the verge of becoming a full-time team and you wouldn’t be surprised if they finish in the top four either. They pulled off a couple of big coups in Martyn Ridyard and Gareth Hock as well as others.

You can never write off Halifax. They are only a part-time club but Richard Marshall is one of the most underrated coaches in British Rugby League. They made the Qualifiers last year and will be in and around that spot this time around.

We haven’t even mentioned London Broncos yet! They have been terrific in recent years and have started to blood through some of their youngsters which is great to see. It would good to see a side from the Capital back in the top-flight.

Dewsbury Rams and Batley Bulldogs are certainly darkhorses to get into the top four places. It will be difficult for them but stranger things have happened.

So, do you think a Championship club could gain promotion to Super League this year? If so, who?
