Dale Ferguson could be set for another month at Hull Kingston Rovers after coach Craig Sandercock admitted he had been impressed with his performances.
The 24-year-old originally penned a one month loan deal but the form of Huddersfield’s’ Jason Chan, Jaime Cording, David Faiumu and Brett Ferres has seen the former Scotland international fall down the pecking order at the John Smith’s Stadium.
Coupled with the arrival of marquee signing Ukuma Ta’ai, Ferguson could be set for another month at Craven Park.
Hull KR coach Sandercock said: “If I had the opportunity to keep him longer, I would want to. Dale is on loan for a month, but after that we will sit down and go from there.
“At this stage he is doing everything we have asked of him, and he’s fitted in really well. All in all, I’m very happy with him, but what I want is not always what I get.”
